What Happened to Ronny From Expedition Bigfoot?
Recently I started watching the latest season (season 5) of the show “Expedition Bigfoot”, and I noticed Ronny, one of the main bigfoot investigators on the show, isn’t in any of the episodes of this season.
With this being said, I decided to do some research a few days ago, and I managed to find an article that explains what happened. In the article, there’s a link to a video that Ronny posted on Instagram where he explains why he left.
Apparently a 15-year-old autistic kid who is (or maybe “was”) interested in researching bigfoot started getting a lot of blame and hate from the bigfoot community last summer, as he was being accused of faking DNA evidence.
In the video, Ronny seems very agitated at the fact that so many people are giving the kid heat, and this appears to be one of the main reasons he left the show. He even said, “There’s a couple people and I’m not gonna name names, but you know who you are, and you need to stop the sh-t right now.”
I have no idea whether or not the kid really did fake any DNA evidence, nor do I know the exact reason Ronny left the show, although I suspect, based on the quote above, that he’s mad at the Expedition Bigfoot team.
It also sounds like he left to spend more time with his family and work on other projects.
I wish I had more information about this situation because I feel like we’re missing important details, but that’s all I got.
